I'm Pōhutukaryl Cosplay, a Filipina cosplayer from Te Whanganui-a-Tara, Aotearoa (Wellington, New Zealand).I mainly cosplay from video games, superhero comics, Disney, and musical theatre.Since I grew up in a Western media landscape lacking in Filipino or even Southeast Asian representation, I cosplay partially to show people, especially children of color, that heroes and princesses don't have to look like the white Western ideal of beauty - they can look like me.I love bringing smiles to kids and adults alike by cosplaying for charity and community events. As an experienced actor and singer, I can also provide character entertainment.
